Youngin Da SP - He Likes Girls!

What do you do in your spare time, other than browse the web? Some of you may listen to music, others may watch TV. Well this guy connects both of those hobbies! Youngin da SP just finished up his debut on MTV's Taking The Stage, a show based here in Cincinnati, OH that focuses on talented students chasing their dreams that are bound to blow up within the next couple years. I've been emailing back and forth with two girls that personally know and work with Youngin da SP (or Ian, as they call him), and they have opened my eyes to him and his talent. He's an up and coming rapper in Cincinnati, and plans to move to Florida in the fall for school and to pursue his dream. Youngin da SP's hit single is called "I Like Girls" and is available for purchase on iTunes now. Check him out, people, he is a DEFINATE up and coming star.

Juno Awards

Okay bloggers! I know my blog is centered around artists in the Cincinnati area, but I'd just like to announce and remind you all that the Juno Awards are this weekend in Canada! Catch your favorite Canadian artists such as Justin Bieber ROCK THE STAGE! The Juno Awards is an up and coming awards show based in Canada hoping to one day be as big as the Grammy's and expand more into America. Check it out!

Lil' B-She's A Barbie Girl!

I've never met Lil B before, but I can vouch that "Barbie Girl" is one of Cincinnati's top hits! Every club plays this song a couple times a night and the audience loves it. Lil B recently shot a music video for "Barbie Girl" featuring many Cincinnati locals, I can tell that when he makes it, his whole city makes it. He seems like the type of man that isn't just pursuing music for HIMSELF, he's doing it for everyone that has supported and helped him thus far. I'm looking forward to see what he does next!

Kai Kenn-"Da Klub King"

When I first moved to Cincinnati, I had no friends, networks, nothing. One night I decided to hit the town alone and I found myself at Club Celebrities. That night Kai Kenn performed. His vibe amazed me. He had the whole crowd rockin' that night to his hit single "Do The Old Man", with me even trying a couple moves. I talked to him later that night, and he was very personable. His genuineness and his professionalism convinced me that he will be very successful in the music industry very soon.

J Wise-Orlando, FL

In the world of Hip Hop, there are many up and coming artists, and one of the best locals from Orlando, FL is J Wise. Originally from BK, J Wise moved to Orlando, FL to kick off his music career. This man's lyrical genius is UNBELIEVABLE! With the streets buzzing his tunes like "Get Some", J Wise is bound to draw attention. Not only does he have lyrical talent, but he is also a very well known local producer. Watch out for him people, he's a serious threat to the industry!
